Join singer Ariane to learn how to sing some beautiful May Songs and Spring Song as we welcome long-awaited Spring 2021.

Following our popular In Retreat weekly online workshop series which began at the start of lockdown, The Telling is thrilled to present a six-week Women in Medieval Music edition to help you through the continued COVID-19 restrictions.

Taking place at the usual In Retreat time of 11am - 11.30am every Friday on Zoom, singer Ariane Prüssner will guide you through a mix of medieval (including troubadour and trouvère) and folks songs on the theme of Spring and May for this slightly longer 9-week course.

Can't make that time? The sessions will also be made available post-broadcast for ticket holders to watch at their leisure.

Each session is £5, or buy a full access ticket at the discounted price of £36!

Repertoire includes:

The snow it melts the soonest
Tavaszi szél

Essex May Day Carol
Spring Crescent

Searching for lambs

En Mai quant la rose
Ce fut en mai
En mai au douz
Lancan li jorn
