Niamh Cusack


Niamh Cusack reads the role of Hildegard of Bingen for The Telling.  She has worked extensively in theatre, television and film. Most recently for stage Niamh appeared in the acclaimed National Theatre adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Afterplay with Sheffield Theatres. Other recent stage credits include: Playboy of the Western World, Dancing at Lughnasa and Cause Célèbre(Old Vic), Women, Power and Politics (Tricycle), Andersen’s English (Hampstead Theatre, UK tour and Old Vic), and Peter Hall’s Portrait of a Lady(Theatre Royal Bath). On screen Niamh was recently seen in BBC2’s The Best of Men and Richard Eyre’s BBC adaptation of Henry IV Part II, as part of the Shakespeare history play mini-series The Hollow Crown. She is also well-known for Fallen Angel (ITV), Inspector Lewis (ITV), Midsomer Murders (ITV) and Heartbeat (ITV).
