The Telling has some ambitious plans to bring medieval music to the masses – or rather to masses of people around the UK in areas where little early music tours!
We’ve applied for funding to help us launch 4 new residencies in December 2018/early 2019 (watch this space). But we’re also touring a number of shows, particularly our Empowered Women Trilogy: Into the Melting Pot, Vision and Unsung Heroine.
The fun starts in May and June with two performances of our new show, Into the Melting Pot:
20 May 2018 8pm at Omnibus Theatre: part of Whispers from the Wallsseries https://www.omnibus-clapham.org/event/into-the-melting-pot/
24 June 2018 8pm Stroud Green Festival www.stroudgreenfestival.org.uk
Other dates include engagements with The Buxton Festival, Little Missenden Festival, Music at Oxford and Colchester Early Music. See the full list of performances here which will be updated as other dates are confirmed.
Also – watch this space for details of our new CD,The Lily & the Rose which we recorded in January and which will be released in June.
