Why we need your help
Despite our size, we deliver impactful work by touring our hallmark collision of music and drama to excluded areas across the UK that larger arts organisations don’t dare to reach, while reaching audiences normally unmoved by traditional classical concerts.
This work is expensive.
Producing music and theatre shows requires more costly rehearsal time, a theatre director, stage crew and technicians, compared to a standard concert.
In order to reach excluded communities where there is no early/classical music or theatre promoter, we cover the costs of venue hire, the fees for the artists and crew, and travel and accommodation costs which often cost more as we travel further.
Promoter fees and ticket income don’t come close to covering these costs.
We are lucky to have received several grants from Trusts and Foundations but the largest potential grants are from Arts Council England who are inundated. Our two most recent ACE applications were unsuccessful.
Despite these challenges, we are prepared to do the hard work that others won't because we believe the communities we serve are worth every effort, and we hope you do too.
Thank you so much for any donation you can give.
