About the event

Ahead of the concert, join singer Clare Norburn who will guide you through how to sing a range of beautiful traditional and medieval carols from the programme. Plus, at the start of the second half of the concert, you will be invited to perform on stage with The Telling for a couple of numbers (if you wish). Repertoire TBC.

This is a friendly, casual workshop where all ages and abilities are welcome and you do not need to be able to read music, although scores will be provided. Christmas is a time for everyone who wants to sing together.  Clare will teach you by ear and the repertoire will include some simple medieval carol choruses in unison which are easy to pick up by ear - and a couple of carols you will know, eg O Little Town of Bethlehem. There will be one piece in two parts for those who enjoy more of a challenge but we will help everyone to join in that too.

Entry to the workshop is free to concert ticket holders, or you may book for the workshop only for £5.
