About the event

In the run-up to Christmas, The Telling singer Clare Norburn presents four workshops on Zoom to guide you through how to sing a range of beautiful traditional and medieval carols as heard on The Telling's Secret Life of Carols - David Mellor's (Classic FM) "absolutely favourite" Christmas CD of 2019.

The workshops will take place live on Zoom on Fridays, 11am-11.40am commencing on 18th November. The series is split in two, with a week break halfway through while The Telling embarks on a short Carol Concert tour in Conwy, Cardiff and Mistley, each coupled with a live workshop (tickets sold separately or free with a concert ticket - book here). Then the online workshop series will recommence on 9th December.

Can't join us on Friday mornings? Can't make all four workshops? All online workshops will be recorded so you can watch at your leisure. Links to the recordings will be sent to all bookers a few hours after the live stream.

These are friendly, casual workshops where all ages and abilities are welcome and you do not need to be able to read music, although scores will be made available. All you need to attend is an internet connection. Plus, all participants will be muted so you can sing without fear.

Each workshop will take place on Zoom and last approx 40 minutes. Ahead of each workshop, you will be sent materials and details on how to join via Zoom. If you have any queries or need help, do not hesitate to get in touch with The Telling's General Manager, Steph at steph@thetelling.co.uk
