About the event
The Telling as you've never seen them before: stripped back, unrehearsed and unchained!
Have a drink and relax as Clare Norburn (singer), Joy Smith (harp & percussion), Emily Baines (recorders, bagpipes & percussion) and Giles Lewin (bagpipes, fiddle & oud) perform an unrehearsed and improvised concert/jamming session of music ranging from medieval.
Audience members are encouraged to join in whether through making requests or joining in some rousing drinking songs and rounds - or just sit back and enjoy the show!
Anything could happen when The Telling's unchained.
Ticket prices explained:
The Telling is a small arts charity that relies on donations on top of ticket income to put on The Telling Unchained programme. To put on this concert, we need to pay for the venue, admin, marketing, travel and, of course, our brilliant musicians. Selling out this concert at £10 per ticket wouldn't cover all the costs. However, our priority is to make our concerts as accessible as possible so we are leaving it up to your discretion as to what you can afford and if you're able, we would really appreciate you giving a little extra to help us make up the difference. Thank you!
