Natalie Rowland


Natalie is a Technician and Lighting Designer. She trained with the Association of British Theatre Technicians and the Emergency Planning College.


Natalie has worked extensively in Dance, Musical Theatre and has specialised in outdoor productions. She is currently Technical Manager for the Malden Theatre (Washington, Sussex), and also the training provider for Martin Professional, delivering courses and workshops in intelligent lighting. She has designed lighting for a number of Brighton Early Music Festival productions since 2011, including Orfeo in 2017, as well as Monteverdi String Band's Il Combattimento production in Venice. She lit the 17 date UK tour (2016/17) of Breaking the Rules by Clare Norburn with the Marian Consort, directed by

Nicholas Renton, Palisander’s ACE funded tour of Dr Dee’s Daughter and Ensemble Moliere’s Pygmalion (also ACE-funded). In 2018/19 she will light the ACE-funded Burying the Dead show with baroque ensemble Ceruleo, directed by Thomas Guthrie.
