The Mancunium Consort is a professional vocal ensemble originating in Manchester, UK. The group, founded by Harry Mobbs and Joseph Taylor in 2023, shares its joy and passion for Choral Music with a global audience, and is a trailblazer in widening the platform for professional singers in the North of the UK. Hailed as one of the rising stars of the Choral Music scene, the group will have performed over 40 concerts in two years by the end of 2025, both in the UK and Europe. The group prides itself on its embracing multi-genre repertoire spanning over 5 centuries, and sharing all of its activities to its wide audience on social media and YouTube.


Recent highlights for the group include collaborations with The Gesualdo Six, opening the ‘Live at Lunchtime’ season at The Bridgewater Hall, as well as concerts in London, Manchester, and Liverpool. The group are looking forward to an upcoming tour to Belgium, as well as a collaboration with Music & Theatre company The Telling in November-December 2025. The group are also set to release their first album, ‘The Mancunium Consort: A New Light’ in the autumn.
