You may have heard our playwright/soprano/Artistic Director Clare Norburn on BBC Radio Shropshire, Merseyside and Cumbria in recent days. Clare will also be on BBC Radio West Midlands (WM) and Radio 4's Front Row on Monday 18th October.
Clare has been chatting to local radio presenters about The Telling's brand new concertplay (where music and theatre collide): I, Spie. The extraordinary tale of composer John Dowland’s brush with the Secret Service as he inadvertently manages to foil a plot on Elizabeth I. An explosion of drama and music: think Blackadder meets Spooks in a surreal setting, with lively Elizabethan street, tavern and courtly music from The Telling. Get your spy fix!
Starring Danny Webb (Alien3, Netflix's The Dig, ITV's Liar, Channel 4's Humans), Dominic Marsh (Kneehigh Theatre, The Globe) and Alice Imelda (The Old Laundry Theatre, HBO's My Dinner with Hervé).
